THE LEGENDS CHALLENGE • USA v. Mexico

The USA team has a lineup that resembles the rosters from the 90s World Cups such as Cobi Jones, Paul Caligiuiri, Eric Wynalda, Roy Lassiter, Clint Mathis, Alexi Lalas, to name a few.

This match will be great to watch as a throwback, but will there be an equal supporters presence? Why not, there is a very diverse soccer loving community in L.A., time to show up for this energy filled day of soccer. There will be musical performances and 6v6 tournament for the MLS Copa Bud Light, where the winner heads to the international finals in England as the representative.

Jamaica vs. Grenada 4-0

So, this is how the west was won. Jamaica started their Gold Cup campaign in Los Angeles at the Home Depot Center versus fellow Caribbean island Grenada. With complete domination, the Reggae Boyz finished strong with pace and finesse. It could have been much worse if Grenada's goalkeeper Shernel Louison was not up to the task. The build-up and finish for the fourth goal by Bradford City's Omar Daley was a fitting way to cap-off the Group B opener.
